Well as there is no Championship football for nearly 2 weeks, anyone going to either of these games?
The Laughing Bluebird said:No, but I'm going to Wales v Austria. Is that any good?
Uncle Buck said:Probably a whole lot less bigoted than Saturday's game at Old Trafford has the potential to be.
The Laughing Bluebird said:I imagine there'll be plenty of the usual. Are you going? The bar manager in my local is. He's a fanatical Northern Ireland supporter.
Uncle Buck said:I am going to both of them for some reason.
The Laughing Bluebird said:Don't know how many tickets have been sold, but I've heard it's something like 40,000 so far. Which is not bad considering it's effectively a friendly for Wales!
ChapmansThe Saviour said:Defenders: M Williams (Rushden and Diamonds), S Craigan (Motherwell), C Murdock (Crewe), M Clyde (Wolves), C Baird (Southampton), T Capaldi (Plymouth), G McCartney (Sunderland).
Midfielders: , J Whitley (Sunderland), T Doherty (Bristol City), C Brunt (Sheffield Wednesday), S Davis (Aston Villa), K Gillespie (Leicester), P Mulryne (Norwich).
Forwards: S Jones (Crewe), S Elliott (Hull), A Smith (Preston), A Kirk (Northampton Town), , W Feeney (Stockport).
ChapmansThe Saviour said:Oh and Roy Carroll and Maik Taylor are the keepers.
Uncle Buck said:For the England game in September, it would seem the WFA are giving us at least 10% (7000), but from what the FA were saying at some South Coast England fans thing last month, it maybe more, depending on what the segregation is like.
Uncle Buck said:Probably a whole lot less bigoted than Saturday's game at Old Trafford has the potential to be.
Uncle Buck said:I am going to both of them for some reason. Not been to St James Park, so that was my excuse for Wednesday. I think Saturday will be one of those games that England are expected to win by a large margin, but in reality it will be a tightish game and then the usual suspects will be on here calling for Sven to go and Allardyce (or Graham Taylor) to be given the job.
