There are still a limited number of tickets available for the big game against Egypt next Wednesday, but hurry if you want to get one as these are guaranteed to go fast.

See our World Cup heroes in action for the last time together before they depart for South Africa, with squad places up for grabs this is sure to be an extremely competitive and compelling international fixture, and I, for one can't wait.

Crodo is right, this is the talk of the town. Only last night I was in Varsty Wolverhampton when a conversation popped up about the merits of taking Zamora to South Africa and who should be back up to the superb Joe Hart.

I, for one, can hardly contain my excitement. My only regret is that I am unable to take the Thursday off so that I can attend the game. Instead, I will be propping up the bar at one of Wolverhampton's many fine drinking establishments.

Personally I think the FA have got the pricing very wrong for this one.

Adult prices at £30-£40 is very reasonable in my opinion.

You are right, there are a few thousand left but as a percentage of Wembleys capacity this is an extremely small number and they look sure to go with a week still until the big game.

The FA have pulled off a real coup here in persuading the African champions (no less) to help our England heroes in their preparations for the World Cup. It will be a privilege and an honour to see our proud England team sharing the same pitch as the all-conquering Egyptions in this historic match. Make no mistake, this will be a real test for the prospective World Champions in waiting, but whatever the result, we can be sure of one thing - FOOTBALL will be the winner.

They weren't African champions when the tie was arranged.

And how pleasing to see that ITV will be covering the game. Their smooth, effortless professionalism and cutting-edge punditry will greatly enhance the viewing pleasure of the millions of viewers not fortunate enough to be at Wembley next Wednesday. With the likes of Robbie Earle, Andy Townsend and Steve Rider at the helm, watching their coverage actually becomes a footballing education for the masses, as we all share and benefit from their collective wisdom.

Its going to be quite a night.

I see ITV have also added Marcel Desailly to add a continental perspective to proceedings, which further enhances their already comprehensive coverage.

Unfortunately I will be one of the 80,000+ England fans at the game so I'll be missing it.

A job for Sky+ there then surely.

Marcel Desailly is undoubtedly one of the most articulate and succinct analysts of the game, a real student of footballing science. It will be a pleasure to hear his views on the group of legendary Englishmen who will be entertaining us that night.

Any chance of Big Ron putting in an appearance I wonder ?

Will be my first EVER England game and first time at new Wembley Stadium too.

Only went to Old Wembley once, to see Technotronic and Madonna in concert...circa 1988/89..
