Looks like this could be fun next week with the proposed tube strike next Wedneday. Has anyone used the route via Clapham junction and then to Wembley Central over ground before? Looks like Wembley Central is a little bit of a walk but not ot bad considering you don't have to use the tube on the way back.

The route via Clapham to Wembley Central worked great for the last Wembley international. The other advantage is that it's miles cheaper.

VIA London Bridge is the best way IMO. Saves changing on the Tube.

Yeah, I shall be there too, got a kids ticket - 15 notes. Remember to wake me up at Half Time :shootself

According to news sources on Saturday , the RMT is calling out its tube members for a 48 hour strike starting at 1900 tomorrow over job losses and pay & conditions.

Not sure why the late kick off but it does make it late to get back. There is a 22.25 or 22.50 from Wembley central though that gets back to Haywards Heath at 12.30 ish, presume thats a Brighton train.

8.15pm. Bloody hell, only just noticed that. Who's bloody idea is that. 8pm is bad enough, but by the time you end up queueing up for the tube it will be flippin tight to get a train back down south. May have to Gatwick Express it.

Bear in mind that the car park at Gatwick is likely to cost more than the train fare!

I think you'll find British Lions are playing rugby so they've put the football back so they don't overlap.
