He can play both midfield and defence. He started his career at Sheff United playing mainly in defence. I wanted to get him, Sidwell and Watson in so put him in defence. He has always played well in that position.

Well my Sheffield United mate reckons he's very average as a defender.

He get used at right back, centre back, and goalkeeper at need but his best position by far is midfield.
