Sod all this may not qualify for Euro 2008 business, and how badly the players are performing, and how crap the manager is. Something far more catastrophic and disastrous is in very real danger of occuring.

Scotland, yes Scotland, that bunch of footballers, that no matter how poor we are, we can reassuringly take the piss out of whilst wallowing in our superiority over them, are only 2 places behind England in the latest FIFA World rankings!!!!! If Scotland qualify for Euro 2008, and we don't I would imagine they would soon be above us.

Why would we want Martin O Neil in charge, he has only achieved verty limited success with very small clubs not a prolific manager in the Arsene Wenger, Jose Mouriniho mode.

He is much the same as Sam Allardyce a nothing manager.

It will be tough to qualify for South Africa seeded or not seeded, but I am backing Steve McLaren at the boys to give it one hell of a go.

I read that, but I don't quite see how it can be the case. There are NINE European qualifying groups for the world cup, so the nine seeds will be the nine best teams in EUROPE, not that list of WORLD rankings. For example, Brazil and Argentina are in that list, but they're not going to be a seed for the world cup qualifying! So, even though we are dismal, I am sure we will still get seeded for the qualifying. And, the way things are looking, so will Scotland!!

That sir is a very good point !!!

FRUIT OF THE BLOOM
Anybody with a slight football brain could win the Scot Prem with Celtic.

He did actually get Celtic to the Eufa Cup Final and were unfortunate to be defeated by a Porto side then managed by Mourinho that went onto win the European Cup the following season.....

And look at the Villa side closely....notice all the young English players he has purchased....and that are coming through under him....

England are supposed to be going to a tournament in Dubai if they fail to qualify for the Euro finals, guess they have been offered a few £££££££££££s for that.

I see we can register for the possible away "friendly" in Paris on Wed March 26th from today. This match is subject to both qualify for the Euro finals and if we are drawn in the same group, so chances are it will now go ahead as we have a summer at home!
