2-2 in the series, it all comes down to this.

Will Cook fire England home or will the wonderful Jayawardene strike again.

Your thoughts?

I have absolutely no idea. It swings one way, then violently the other. And least we've got more chance of a result than with the joke that is test cricket.

I like the addition of Patel, he looks fitter this summer and the batting looks much better with him in there.

Poor choice to take the powerplay then in hindsight, they were both in and it sould have worked out. One thing I don't like is that Cook decided to charge in the powerplay. Why? THey need to think about the powerplay as getting more runs for your usual strokes, not a time to hit out. It's a mentality thing and needs to be sorted.

FYI big innings from Trott in this game, really showing it's worth now. Stayed in a scored these ruuns that Sri Lanka can't score now as they are 5 down.

Pulled that one out the bag, when the Slinga hit a 6 of his first ball I thought we done for.

They still needed 17 from 2 overs, never easy when 8 down.

Say what you will about Dernbach but that was a brillant piece of death bowling.
That's the way he should be used. He should be bowling 5 overs at the end from one end and having the other 5 overs when the ball starts to reverse.

At Surrey, he gets tonked when he opens the bowling and does brilliantly in death situations.

The yorker that got Malinga was class.

With some tough work from the bowling coach to stop the leg-side wides, he could be a very good one day player.
