Dunk - playing the best football of his career. Adapted seamlessly to the slightly different roles required by a new coach. So much to his game, including passing.

Mings - in a promoted team which has started poorly, other than narrowly coming out on top in a shite-fest against Everton.

I like Southgate, but there’s no logic to the constant ins and outs of centre-backs.

I’m old enough to remember players having to have at least one season playing consistently well at the top level before earning an England cap.
No offence to Mount & Mings but 3/4 games into a season, come on.

They still do. Unless they play for one of the big 6.

Mason Mount has been in the 'England' system for a long time. U16-U21 and now playing for Chelsea means he ticks all the boxes for Southgate 'criteria' - don't see the problem personally?

Part of the winning team at the U19 Euros, and had already been training with the Senior team before the 2018 World cup..

Rice, Maddison, Keane among others....

They can't not pick Rice, Maddison was good last season (and as such proves the rule) and Michael Keane is nowhere near being an England regular.
