Where do you get that from?

I always view the team from the keeper out, like any good team should be built.

Then it is just a matter of which way you read, I suggest most people read from left to right.

Just the explanation for why I write it left to right.

Yeah but right backs are usually numbered 2 so as you always read the goalkeeper first (ie number one) it then continues in order

I agree it would make sense before squad numbers, with the standard 1-11. But to me it just makes more sense left to right.
