It's utterly irrelevant.

England had nothing to play for, they were never going to win by 57 points. For Wales, this was massive, avoiding the spoon and also against England. It's actually quite sweet watching them celebrate quite this much.

I'm really not going to put much into this result at all.

Oh right, so England weren't trying to win. Good point, well made. :glare:

Looking at Italy's improvement this season, there should be promotion for the winners of the European Nations Cup. Romania in the Six Nations would be cool.

I thought we lacked ideas today.....the Welsh too many times caught us on the game line and Flood was not as good as last week.

having said all that, Italians did reasonably well for a while vs the Irish and the Scots...well:lolol: :lolol: :lolol: :lolol: :lolol: :lolol: :lolol: :lolol: :lolol: :lolol: :lolol: :lolol:

I still dont think there is anything in Europe to worry the Kiwi's Aussies and South Africans.

My outside bet for the WC.......Argentina

I think you know that wasn't my point. But did it mean as much to them as it did to Wales? No, not by a long, long way.

Come on, consider how different it feels for the Albion players to play against Northwich in the cup, or at Selhurst? Could you not see a difference in the mentality?

Sorry but with professional sportsmen with pride at stake that is just a poor excuse. And let's not forget that they started the game with a chance of winning the championship. Didn't mean as much to them? Well, if you say so. . .

Very predictable result, Wales were never going to go through a season without a win and England were never going to rise to last week's form in a game that really didn't matter. Yes we could have won the championship if we'd won by 50 odd points. Never gonna happen.

Still no excuse for being absolute embarrassing shite again as we have been in virtually every game for nearly 4 years now.

Dare I suggest the IRISH ref also had a bias towards Wales and missed a multitude of Welsh players coming into the scrum from the side thoughtout the game..or would that be a bit sour grapes

Whilst by no means did the ref have a good gaem he was not the worst during the tournament, which has been exciting but the refereeing of pretty much every game has struggled to live up to the standard required.

What's having an Irish ref got to do with it? And how does one go into a scrum from the side?

ruck then but you know what I meant and I assume you aren't English if you have to ask why an Irish ref might have some Welsh bias in a match involving England played in Wales :)

Irrelevant anyway as the Welsh deserved their win and as long as they have beaten England I doubt they care too much about the upcoming WC unless it presents them with the chance to beat England again.

England have bigger fish to fry but will still fall flat on their faces against the 1st decent team we meet and that won't be Wales in a match played outside Wales.
