That video is pretty funny. There's some right gormless OB in there trying not to be gormless on camera, and then all the knobheads trying to wind them up and complaining when they get nicked

The rozzers don't come out of this looking very good, some jokey protesters feel the full, over the top, heavy handed police treatment. Worryingly they genuinely do employ the meat head thugs that used to appear in The Sweeney whenever Regan and Carter were staking out a " Tasty Crew ". The Woodentops also seem to have had their intelligence removed or are on stupefying drugs, unable to interact in a normal way.
All in all, this is not a good advert for the Met, but, do they worry ? I wonder wether this would have been handled this way if the protesters were of an ethnic minority ?

That the police come down heavily on people who, by their own lack of much imagination can barely be called a threat to anyone standing far enough from their unwashed odour, only serves to make the police look somewhat of a cartoon outfit.
You can easily imagine how those sorts could have run down a Brazillian lad living in Britain as an adventure, and dished out capital punishment without the involvement of a judge or a court of justice.
Police intelligence is somewhat of an oxymoron - we'd be just as well policed by the silly squatter-types they just harassed in that video
