A Stoke win at Southampton would help as well.
Really ? I want a Southamton win
Yes, I think so. Stoke look to me to be on course for less points than Southampton, so minimising the saints return helps us, I think.
I don't like the thought of a Stoke win. They've got quite a few winnable games to come, so 3 points at the weekend would be bad. A draw would be ok, and if SCC win and overtake us, there are other clubs that could go down instead of them. I think a draw is best at this stage.

2 very relevant games today which override some pivotal game predictions with results on the pitch.

Swansea v West Ham
Southampton v Stoke

Let's see how they influence the predictor results and albion points target.

Another predictor thingy here https://www.twtd.co.uk/league-calculator/ which has today's results in already.

I've been pessimistic, but still ended up with us being safe on 36 points. West Brom, Stoke, Southampton to go down. I think we've underestimated the difficulties of their run ins.

Using this I got Albion 40 points with -18 goal difference and I wasn't flattering us either.

Palace will find it very tricky to stay up if we take 3 points at Selhurst.

Shirley even if we just draw 3 more we'll have enough to stay up. And I fancy us to win at least one more anyway. Even if we lose our next 9 we'd still have half a chance of staying up!

Southampton, Stoke and Pardew. Again. Palace surviving by the skin of their teeth in 17th. Albion 10th.

A beautiful sight to behold that form table.
Every time I do these things I get from 38 points to 42 points.
Chris now has the missing two pieces of the puzzle, so can put the full plan into action, imagine if we had signed these two last summer.

Staying up level on points with palace. I was trying to be pessimistic though.

Ok so I’ve had another go at this today and the good news is that we will not be having any last day nerves... Unfortunately we lose 0-1 to Man Utd but the results elsewhere are favourable, meaning we can’t be caught in the final round of matches...

We end up finishing 14th on 38 points but the goal difference takes a slight dip to minus 23

Below us:-

West Ham - 38 points
Swansea - 35 points
Huddersfield - 35 points
Southampton - 34 points
Stoke - 34 points
WBA - 24 points

Happy days.

West Brom won't get 34 points.

Southampton and Stoke will struggle to get 34 points.

So, so near to survival now - let's get 1 more win soon to seal the deal.

Every time I come back to this, it gives 33 points to survive.

Just a question now of building up more of a buffer against unfortunate freak results.

1 more win should calm any nerves, but in fact we may already be safe.
