End Of Match Thoughts

As I have said in a number of threads I had resigned myself that Brighton were a very poor team earlier in the season and that I believed except for that week in the Autumn when we played Leicester & Millwall, that relegation was beckoning.

Now that we are all but down, what I ask of the team is to play with some passion & effort so at least we will be going down with a fight.

Other teams around us have picked up points again today, yet against Walsall & Scunthorpe the commentators have said that we never looked liked scoring, creating chances & that the players have all but given up.

Is it too much to ask?

Send all the loanees back, cut our losses. Can't don any worse with a collection of old stalwarts (Harty, Mayo) and youngsters than we have with the mediocre bunch we have brought in on loan.

Absolute disbelief.

Just can't believe we got ourselves into this situation from where we were a year ago.

It's not over yet, but its not looking good at all.

So if Brighton played Crawley now, who would you have your money on?

We are doomed, two away games in a week, two abject performances with no fight or passion. Disgraceful performances at the business end if the season

We have to win 3 more games than Swindon and Northampton now

Fair play to the fans for singing to the end, a marvellous compilation of league 2 chantings

Now for the long journey home, another great Saturday spolied by the soccerflids
