Yes, agreed. Precautions should be taken in all circumstances with an injured player.Just because he is in a knee brace and on crutches, that doesn't necessarily mean it is a serious injury.
We've seen players leave the Amex after games in protective boots only for them to play the following weekend. If there is any potential injury, they will look to stabilise the affected area to minimise the risk of further damage until they have the results of the full assessment.
Let's just hope that for Julio, it is more of a precaution.

We don’t jump the gun on reporting injuries so we’ll just have to wait to hear the outcome.
Even if it’s a minor injury I wouldn’t expect to see him play again until after the International break, and I think the chances of him playing for his national team for their WC qualifier will be non existent.
Hopefully it is just a minor injury.
