Most of 'em comes in zip format. I've got amiga, SNES, Megadrive and Master-system emu's and they all were zipped.

MAME32 ia a great emulator, you can get most old arcade games for it.

Mame32 is quality......I have four CDs full of ROMs for it as well.

How to ruin a keyboard playing track n field.

whats an emulator?

It's a program which lets you play old games on your PC, effectivly turning your PC into a Spectrum, or a Mega Drive or whatever you like. It's great to play those old games again, and you can find most of them free if you know where to look.

Really? I downloaded their emulator a while ago and it's been fine ever since so I don't know. Am at work so can't have a look into it just now, but will have a look later.

I loved the old mega-drive hockey games. Does anyone have a list of sites for all old consoles? I'm sure that'd go down a storm on a tedious Tuesday.

most stuff is usually zipped but for future reference, get WinRAR which can handle just about every compression format known to man.

as for sites, there are hundreds of them, just google for "emulators". if your at work check out the spectrum ones as they are small and simple and most games originally had keyboard controls. Dizzy rules :p

Falmer, soon...
Never really bothered with the Amiga Emu, but have been using Warajevo (speccy)and MAME (arcade) for years

Can't beat a bit of Bards Tale I running at 600% or Head Over Heels (still the best game ever nearly 20 years on)

Also running Football Manager at 800% allows you to run a whole 6 seasons in a couple of hours.

On Mame it's got to be Track & Field as Tinx says, however I must confess a bit of a liking for World Cup 90

WinUAE is certainly the best Amiga emulator, but its still a bit of a pain to get some games to run. And Joystick support is crap, though many have had better luck than me and i think it might be down to having a decent PC controller rather than a shitty £10 game pad.

Best bet for Sensi Soccer is to spend £50 quid on E-bay for a real Amiga and a boatload of games. individual games will set you back £5-15.
