Emotional Rant at moaners

I am fed up with those who moan at our players. I have said on another thread and I will say it again, being a brighton supporter is more then that. because of what we have suffered together in the past we are a tight knit club, something that makes us unique in the fact that we rally together etc against all odds. When we start moaning at our own we start to lose this, and I think it is this collective spirit that makes us such a great club and also what saw off those who threatened our very existence. let u not forget that.
people have bad games, people arnt as good as others..but they do not play badly on purpose and their performance is hardly going to be helped by being told they are shit.
While they wear the stripes they are one of us.
We are top of the league with a hundred percent record...is that not enough?

Good on you Richie (and Turkey on the other thread).
No one plays badly on purpose......... a bit of encouragement rather than a slating goes a long way.
Despite the need to be confident and 'in the zone', in control of everything they do, a lot of players are treading a fine line between that and a loss of confidence that affects their whole game.

If you have a bad day at work, chances are you'll get away with it and nothing will be said and tomorrow's just another day.

But when you play badly in a game, that might be your place given to someone else, loss of bonuses and therefore livliehood and with hundreds of players going out of the full time game, it builds the pressure. Some can take it, some don't deal with it quite as well.
That's why they need support and encouragement.

That's why we get on at the opposition - to put them off their game. Why would it be any different when we get at our own players?

No.

If we don't get promoted at Plymouth again I want my season ticket money back.

dwayne - I've opened a few threads since my return this evening. All I read is negative posts and little digs at people who care a lot, and give a lot, to this club.

What the f*** do you give to this club?

By your own admission you do not go to home games. You are full aware that going to away games contributes not a single penny to the Albion.

You were offered the chance to stick a tenner into the Sponsorship fund but, apparently, you are too hard up to be able to do that right now.

The clue is: Shut the f*** up being negative about those who are parting with their hard earned to see the Albion play.

ok if fatboy gives me back the £50 that he owes me (yes all the way back from the soccer am show) I will donate £25 of that to your bloody sponsorship fund.

...No wonder I'm angry with my own fans when my own fans ROB ME.

I dont think people should be outwardly critical during games but I also dont think we can have a go at people for not getting to games and say they cant really moan as they dont pay money toward the club etc...that said dwayne does seem to ask for a lot of the stick he gets by slagging off other fans as Bozza pointed out.

Also, the fine line between a player making a great tackle and missing one and giving away a free kick, or playing a great ball or knocking it hopelessly into touch is a fine one, maybe some people need to appreciate this more when getting on peoples backs for doing one thing wrong.
