Hats of to one of the best , if not the best, displays from an opposition goalkeeper ever at the Amex.

How good was he tonight, gutted we couldn’t beat him, he wasn’t lucky either, he was phenomenal.

Sometimes you have to put your hands up and applaud the opposition.

He was not that good , fair enough he made some good saves , but you are going a bit over the top with your praise

I remember Marshall for Cardiff, always in my mind the best ever. Martinez came close tonight.

Admittedly not at the Amex, but Neville Southall for Torquay United at Withdean.

Heaton for Burnley two years ago? But if McAllister buries the header? The rest we gave him a chance with.

That save from Veltman was just tremendous.

David Marshell still has that title. But he was very good tonight. The only Villa player to walk off that pitch with any credit tonight.

Absolutely. One fab save from BDB but the rest were because our offensive players struggle so badly to hit the onion bag

Rubbish, 9 shots on target, at least 3 which a keeper like Pickford ( for example) would have let in. Without Martinez, we would have won 3+ nil tonight.

He is an excellent keeper and part of me wishes we got him. But £20mil, when we have Sanchez who looks like he could be or even is as good as Martinez already.... Would never have seen him and it’s saved us £20mil we don’t have. But credit to him, he’s been great all season. But then Villa really have splashed the cash haven’t they... makes tonight’s game all the more sweater as we outplayed them everywhere.

You know the Mac or Tross one on the half volley that deflected back in to the goal that he saved... I have a feeling that was flying in if it wasn’t for the deflection...!?

I thought about 7 or 8 of his saves were regulation stops.

1 or 2 very good saves in there, but with decent quality finishing he doesn't have the chance to make these saves. We just don't generate enough power to give keepers no chance
