one does wonder whats happened with him, with all the injuries and lack of goals to not get a look in. good enough to make the bench, but not good enough to come off.

Come Along. He needs a Change of Habit, though I doubt he'll do it; he seems to have a "Do You Know Who I Am?" attitude. He must be thinking it's A Dog's Life, and I'm Doin' the Best I Can. He says he's asked Hughton In the Early Morning Rain in an attempt to Find Out What's Happening "Doncha' Think it's Time?", hoping that he'd reply "Don't Leave Me Now" so that he could Follow That Dream and make his Fame and Fortune. "Fool", said Hughton, "Fool, Fool, Fool". "You're certainly The Fool. You know what fools do? Fools Rush In (Where Angels Fear to Tread)". "Give Me the Right role", said Manu, "and I promise You'll Forget Me Never". "Hard Luck", Hughton replied, "I Believe, I Can Help. I Don't Want To...err, I Don't Wanna Be Tied to you.".....

....Even I'm bored now. Coat.

He hasn't really said anything that isn't true, has he? What he has omitted is that he has been underwhelming when he has been on. It may be somewhat simplistic (or I may be plain wrong) but whenever I watch Dutch football it seems that there is plenty of emphasis on attack and wingplay and very little on tracking back, defending from the front etc. I suspect that Elvis and co have it much easier in the Eredivisie than here.

He may well be able to, but I don't think he's been given much of a chance to show it.

Player gets a chance to show it every time he's at training or every time he's playing for the reserves or in the token cup game. It's up to the player to force his way into the side, which he patently hasn't done so far. And the few glimpses we get of him in the first team are not exactly encouraging. Personally, I'm far more appreciative of the attitude of Niki Maenpaa who is always on the bench and never makes, to my knowledge, any kind of public show of frustration.

Murphy isn't in great form. Manu can play both wings can't he? Worth a 90 minutes surely he can't be that bad. Gotta feel for the bloke, came with big expectations but it hadn't worked out. Part companies in the summer.

Will hardly help his cause. Consider this interview to the manner in which Connor Goldson has acted. Patient, trained hard and then took his chance. Elvis has made no positive impact when he's come off the bench. Hopefully we can cut our losses before next season starts. He's simply not up to the standard required.

Exactly this.

Manu has been poor in all of his cameo appearances this season and, for me, if you've sat on the bench repeatedly then you should damn well make the most of opportunity when its given to you.

Cue Connor Goldson. I would love him to keep his place, even when Greer is fighting fit.

Disappointing interview - maybe a half season loan out to Feyenoord is on the cards.

Why on earth does that make him a pr*ck?

He came here having been playing at the top end of the Dutch league, and scoring goals in the Europa league. Hughton hasn't given him a chance, even when our form dipped he was given 5/10 minute cameos every 3 or 4 weeks. All he's actually said is he made the wrong move, which he has.

Talk about an overreaction.

Well said.

Frankly I'd be annoyed if he WAS perfectly happy sitting on his arse earning a large salary for 5 minutes a week. I don't think much of him as a player, but he's not rubbishing the club or it's facilities, he's just not happy at not getting game time.

I suspect that you are right. In some ways the Championship can be even harder to settle into for foreign players than the Premier League. It is certainly more of a physical battle, and every player, from one to eleven, needs to be able to defend when required.

These sort of comments from players really irritate me. If he'd have come on during his few appearances and made a tangible impact I could understand his point of view. However every time he has been given an opportunity he looks like a fish out of water. He is completely out of his depth at this level from what I have seen. Recruitment is a difficult process to get right and for every gem (Ulloa) there is a dud (Elvis).

Time to cut our losses and get rid.

Sorry but he`s crap. A rare blot on the copybook from the current recruitment team.

Oh come on, he is hardly crap! Given the chance he may well have come up with goals, but sadly, for whatever reasons, that is obviously not going to happen now.

Just one of those signings that hasn't come off unfortunately. It happens.

having watched his youtube video he does seem to have had the benefit of some pretty shambolic defending but having said that he does appear to have pace and be able to cross quite accurately with both feet......and also head the ball into the goal when he wants......when he has been given the opportunity to display his talents for us he has looked frankly pants.......now it would appear he is very unhappy and wants to go back to his feynjoorjdge chums........ perhaps we need to let him start against brentford & bolton to see how he goes...!!

This, not to mention his lack of awareness around him during play resulting in him being caught offside is infuriating.

Do people think Feyenoord really want him back? I know for a fact all the Feyenoord fans I know were laughing to the bank when they sold him. He's on bigger wages than I think a lot of people realise, and we paid over €1 million for him.
