Me too. There is something about B'muff I simply don't like. Can't really put my finger on why, I just don't like them. One of those irrational football things I guess. It also doesn't bode well for them losing at home to Villa. They know they are not going to set the world alight, but I would have thought home to Villa is one of those games they would have targeted as "winable"

Jealous perhaps?, I know I am. It should have been us in the Premier League and not them, We had our big chance for promotion under Gus, but blew it.

Sorry to say this, but as much as I don't like them, Bournemouth are a good team with a bloody good manager, who I think stand a good chance of staying up.

True really. I hope Cook and Elphick do well, at the end of the day neither asked to move on. I do fear that when they play a team with quality strikers they may struggle.

Bournemouth got there by playing attacking football so fair play to them. They've also given all the players who got them there a start vs Villa. They have team spirit and there is loyalty but I'm in no doubt this will be a one season wonder, and a brutal one at that.

They may have stuck by the players, but they lost to Aston Nilla.
They need to learn VERY quickly.

Howe: smug little man who encourages the worst sort of gamesmanship in his players. Fairytale Bournemouth: bending the FFP rules all the way to the Premier League.

That said, on performances alone, you can't say they don't deserve to be there, whatever's going on behind the scenes with their mysterious Russian owner. No doubt that will catch up with them one way, Pompey style.

Loyalty: not so sure. They've already binned off the likes of Pitman & Fraser, who played decent parts in their season just gone. I think they'll stay up though. It's quite common for new teams to lose early games while they're getting the feel of the league. Fairytale Bournemouth didn't exactly get battered yesterday. They just got punished for not taking their chances, as most promoted teams do.

Howe may be a total weapon, but he seems to be a bloody good manager, and this is his Cinderella glass slipper club, the perfect fit for him. I reckon they'll surprise a few people once they get used to the division. Not with Elphick at the back though. I just can't see him staying in the side for the duration. Cook: maybe. I fancy Elphick will be replaced by Distin.

Very fond of Bournemouth, hope they do well.
Lived down there for 3 years, during the Ted Macdougal and Phil Boyer era.
Can't understand the whingy, petty, jealousy on NSC. If we'd had Eddie Howe as manager, we may well have been in the P.L. now.

I don't mind Bournemouth at all, but if Howe was ever our manager, I'd find it difficult to go to matches. I cannot stand him.
