Last year was the first I've seen him play but this year I'm watching him week in & out. Really impressing me and coach Bradley as well

Can't agree that he was a comedy defender until Gus arrived, I'd say he'd been making steady progress which has escalated under Gus but he was improving from his early Withdean days.

In fairness, he transformed him from a comedy defensive midfielder / right back to a brilliant central defender.

Those days under Adams Mk. II when he played DM with Adam Virgo on Right Wing were dark indeed...
