Ok Vicente was the star for 20 odd minutes today but don't forget that week in week out AEA is a rock at the back taking orders from Poyet and delivering what's asked.

Have other noticed how our Braveheart leader Greer sends AEA into the danger zones and marshalls his troops from a safe distance? Also Greer hardly ever/never challenges for headers from our corners...... he just blocks players and looks for knock downs.

Why is Dunk not in the squad? short answer....AEA

Greer is player of the season for me so far, he's been brilliant all season. Him and El Abd together have got to be the best cb combo in this league (of course many other fans of different clubs will say that theirs are).

Was lucky not to concede a pen with the blatant push though.

Nice swallow dive by there player ...they had been going down far too easily earlier ..what goes around comes around.
On subject of Adam ..I thought at one stage he was going to hav to go off...after giving a free kick away for tackling there payer fairly he looked uncomfortable for the rest of the half ...showed no effects 2nd half though

They really have developed into an excellent partnership.

Greer and AEA are both class CB's, Greer does go up for headers as he's the tallest player on the pitch besides brez.

just an observation about Greer by friends in the East and West stands - not sure being the tallest player is an explanation. When was the last time he scored from a corner? when was the last time he had a header on goal? Don't get me wrong, he's been fantastic, a great captain, tackler, good pace, reads the game well, etc, etc

Agreed, but he does have a good header on him from goalkeepers kicks etc, but 50% of the time we do short corner's

our corners are generally poor. Two from Noone today went straight to Pompey keeper.

So comfortable on the ball as well, no surprise he is first on the team sheet.

My favourite Albion player by far.

Have those who thought he was non league fodder f*cked off and supported another team yet ? Not soon enough....
