Huddersfield 7 - 1 Brighton

Bottom of League .

3 of the bottom 4 are now in the Premier League (or have been recently) , the other currently reside in the National League North

Brighton manager Russell Slade told BBC Sussex:

"It was a horrendous night for me as a manager, for the team and for the club.
"I didn't see that coming and can only apologise. By far the worst night I've had in football. I was disappointed with most of the goals we conceded.
"But you've got to give them some credit. What a class act they are."

Like with the thread yesterday can you name the starting XI?

Two keepers Graeme Smith and Michel Kuipers, the former coming on when Kuips got sent off.

I still have nightmares about this game.

The one Brighton goal was scored by the fella that was photographed in West Street during Carnage night, and then appeared in the Sun. I can't think of his name.

Ha, Liam Dickenson! Did we not have our Murray and Forster partnership then?

Cox and Dicker would have been around too, and Crofts I think had signed by then? Adam El-Abd must have been there, in the days before he was the 'best defender at the club'

I've just watched the highlights (will post when we have the 11)

Goodness me.

Edit: One of the players who started I have never heard of!

Was Jakey Robinson still here?

Seb Carole is always a good bet as he has been here 47 times.

I'll go:

FDM/Smith

Whing, Hinshelwood, El Abd, McNulty,

Robinson, Oatway, Dicker, Carole

Holroyd, Dinckenson

Honarable mentions for Zesh Rehman, Owusu (think he came in later that season or had left for Oz), John Piercy

I remember attending the following game at the Withdean on a Saturday. Recall us losing to Stockport 4-2. Topsy tervy game. We were all over the place. Think Forster scored a penalty at the railway bridge end. We were dire.

I was there and the only time I have ever walked out of a game before the end and went to the pub at the end of the road. We were appalling, El-Abd had his worst ever game. Don't think Bennett played as he just joined us that day, he must have thought 'what have I done'

A player who won the Premier League recently was on the Huddersfield bench; and Jordan Rhodes started for the Terriers but failed to score (he had a penalty saved by Smith).
