I wish the bloke all the luck in the world, though not so much the crappy club he plays for.

Always thought he was probably a decent player, just never had any luck at all with us and his confidence was ruined as a result.

Found his level. That isn't a snide dig or anything but he will never be nothing more than a decent league 2 striker.

I just laughed so hard at Bostons 2nd goal against Bradford that a bit of wee came out. The Bradford fullback making a tackle and then COMPLETELY losing sight of the ball, spins through about 450 degrees before getting robbed, for the guy to cross for the goal. I must have watched it 8 times and it just gets funnier and funnier.

Once thats up on YouTube, I'm saving it to my phone. I bloody LOVE the 4th division.

{edit}

Sorry, Burton. Well, they're all the same down there arn't they.

I always thought he was a good player lacking confidence. I'd have kept him on but Gus never even gave him a chance so what do I know?

Perhaps he found some supporters who really support their players, rather than landing them with derisory nicknames guaranteed to destroy confidence.

Indeed. Well pleased for him after the stick he took from our fans. Missed a chance on debut and was vilified thereafter, his self belief destroyed. He will be back scoring goals in League 1 next season. Shame we won't still be here to see it :lolol:

Thank heavens Barnes has knocked a few in (admittedly he is a better player) as otherwise he isn't disimilar in his work rate and ability to get into good positions consistently - you have to be able to get in the right place whether to miss or to score. Top strikers just have a lower miss ratio which is how they get to play for top teams on the top leagues.
