What a player he was. Could be worth a punt.
When I saw him and Willian destroy us v Chelsea I was mightily impressed.
Still only 32. Not sure about his injury history though.

Brighton
shadow of his former self just like the other best opposition player at the Amex Coutinho
Yup - him and Coutinho looked like they were playing a different sport to us. Closest we've had to glimpses of that was Vicente. Effortless class.

This is a player who has admitted that he hasn't been professional enough ( off the field ) He hasn't trained properly..hasn't stuck to recommended diets...let his weight balloon and has had other off field issues which affected his performances.
He basically lost his discipline and let himself go. All this at one of the greatest clubs in the world who paid a huge fee for him and paid him huge wages.
He has had injuries...agreed....but any sympathy ends there. He was superb in the PL but that was a while back. He is a sad shadow of a once dynamic player. I for one wouldn't touch him with a bargepole.

Was that the game where we lost like 5-0 to them?
I remember that game for Hazard been unreal but also how we could have scored like 10 but we failed to score even 1

Albion have a settled squad with a number of young players and with the wise head of James Milner the last thing that Brighton need is someone who may be carrying baggage along with an attitude issue?

Would he pass the "no dickheads" rule?
