I won something on Ebay on Sunday - paid by paypal on Tuesday, but I have not had any contact with the bloke at all.

How long would you leave it before you contact ebay and paypal?

I have mailed him 3 times!!!!!

Yes, there's somebody on here like that ! As it is all you can do is file a complaint and also leave nasty feedback. As you paid by Paypal you should get your money back.

i e-bay a lot, mostly antiques so there's a bit of money at risk.

paying on tuesday, you really ought to hear from him by now, but i'd give it until the start of next week before you get arsey. he's probably just out or on holiday......

That annoys me, the seller shouldn't start an auction if the can't complete it. I always pay straight after the auction finishes and thus get more than a little annoyed when the seller ignores me.

I brought something of Ebay last week, but can't afford to pay for it just yet, untill next week. I emailed the bloke who I have to pay, but I still haven't recieved confirmation that he recieved my email or haven't had a reply back.

I'm alittle worried that I might not recieve the item in question, when I do eventually pay him.

I hope you checked with the seller first that you could wait 2 weeks before paying for it.

I normally wait atleast a week until i start to worry if i haven't recieved the item or anything from the seller, but then again i'm only buying stuff that isn't an awful lot of money.
If you don't hear anything by monday evening then be best to contact ebay, as hes internet conection could be down and that would give him the weekend to sort it out

Some people just dont bother contacting you, they just send it.Dont be surprised if it turns up.Other people let you know exactly whats going on.It takes all sorts.

you can get their contact phone number from ebay and ring them. I had to do it a couple of times and both were legitimate excuses and things were sorted straightaway.

Obviously if their contact number is bogus then your a bit stuck

what a cheek! even though you can't pay him yet (against e-bay rules) he hasn't sent it to you or replied to your mail, what a f***ing cheek he's got:dunce:

I have bought things from e-bay 4 or 5 times, on each occasion I paid immediately and what I bought arrived within a week, well happy. If you are suspicious of the vendor then my advice would be to contact e-bay, apparently they act quickly to get rid of scammers.

I've bought LOTS of things on Ebay and only had a problem once (paypal refunded my money then). I've found more and more sellers recently don't bother to contact you at all, they just expect you to send your money by paypal and will send the goods a couple of days after that. I wouldn't start worrying until the middle of next week, if he has good feedback there's no reason to doubt him this early on.
