As an actual television event, how well did they do ? Do you see this as the 'future' of major storylines being played-out ? The idea of several endings is not new, however going live is. You may or not be a veiwer however do you hold a opinion ?

I thought it was absolutely superb. I was rivetted for the 30 minutes with the tension cranking up. Eastenders can be relentlessly depressing but they have the best acting talent of the soaps and Lacey Turner even live was brilliant. I can see her moving into serious film rolls and being a major film star by 30. Bradley did suprisingly well and Max was excellent but he is a seasoned respected actor and has appeared in The Prestige. Those 3 won the acting honours. All they need to do now is get rid of mrs Shouty woman, ie Ronny. She grates and needs to go.

Overall an exercise worth doing every couple of years maybe for a big storyline. Anymore and the novelty would wear off.

If was acted and filmed superbly overall I thought and it was one of the top 5 Eastenders episodes of all time for me.

9.5

Yeah was very good. Couple of small not noticeable mistakes but it was a great episode. :D

As bradly said afterwards, it was like doing a play. Very well done, evne when Jack cocked up, he saved it. Superb. Agree with US about Stacey, Max and Bradley being the shit.

Jacks recovery was excellent.

Only other thing I noticed, as above, was Max putting his fingers down his throat, and no major fault, but Stacey keep moving her jacket and rustling her microphone.

Actually thought it was pretty good (as good as 'stenders can be).

Jack recovered very well from nearly making a total cock up and the scene just before Stacey confessed was poorly lit with a glare head on into the camera but these things happen.

I expect many of them may never have actually done anything live so it was very good.

Rather sad Bradley died as I thought he was a good actor

Jack did well to get things back with some quick thinking. Agree about Bradley as he really shone last night. Overall it was a total triumph I thought.

Couple of points, can someone point out to me where Jack 'wobbled' ok in the first few scenes there was the odd pause, but only a split second or so. How have the covered the future storyline last night as we know was live and normally the programme is at least a calender month ahead,or is it a question of the 'Archie' storyline being recorded/developed over the week-end so it will fit into main storyline ?

storyline/writing was pretty shocking (chase across the roof-top, no one going to assist once he fell) but the acting was pretty good.

Surely Stacey is in the clear? As for all the Old Bill know, it's Bradley who killed him..
