Alas I have a lengthy session of liver abuse planned for that day. Starting with red wine and port on the 0800 from St Pancras to Derby, which will be continued on the Derby to Stoke train. Then it is off to the Brown Jug in Newcastle under Lyme for apples of the alcoholic variety and pickled eggs. Then into the Britannia Stadium either for a snooze or to watch a few minutes of football, before retiring to the bar. Post game, bus to the station, Bargin Booze by the station, 24 Strongbows for about £10. A couple of pints in one of the 2 pubs by Stoke station. Then the 1830 to Derby, followed by the train to St Pancras, followed by a few Hurlimans in Mables just off the Euston Road.

Not only some top liver abuse, but a good advert for Pubs in Crisis.

Ill be getting the more direct Virgin train straight to Stoke, sitting in 1st class luxury, with a few cans of stella and a fair few rounds of poker to help the trip fly by.

It's a match I'd like to see,but cannot make it from Taunton.

Anyone know where I write to to get the programme?

Who are Eastbourne's star players then?

STUART TUCK (see vote Tuck thread)

http://www.eastbourneboroughfc.co.uk/html/1st_team_squad.html

Scott Ramsay's been great for 'The Sports', 96 goals in 170 games

Yemi Odubade's knocking them in at a similar rate since joing last season

Darren Baker is as close as you get to a legend in the Conference south, over 650 games for the club

Matt Crabb is a terrific player but tends to miss too many games as a result of getting knocked about

a few other ex-Albion in the ranks as well - Simmonds, Piper and Marney; Dan Beck was there for a bit as well but I think he's gone
