Ok hit me with it, where's the best place to sit down for a nice decadent cream tea in East-Sussex?

I have a soft spot for the nutmeg tree in Ditchling. They do a great cream tea, but a better Eggs benedict and the greatest Macaroon in the world (but they tend to sell out of them early).

Delightful walled Garden out the back or the Vera Lynn room if it's cloudy/raining (and trust me, I do a LOT of cafes etc for lunch )

Got some tough competition but possibly the most middle class thread ever on nsc 🤣

Imagine Burnley fans popping over to NSC to see who we’re being linked with or something and seeing this 🤣

I was given a Red Letter Day gift, which is a cream tea with bubbles ie champagne or Prosecco. I’ve booked in at Glynde but haven’t experienced it yet, so can’t comment on how good it is.

The Fatherland
Afternoon Tea at The Grand ALWAYS impressed the German mother-in-law.
