Managed to scrounge couple of extra tix for Barnsley so split up from Mrs Rugrat and headed off to the East with my daughter, first time in there. Just wanted to say that I think what the club are trying to do to encourage younger fans and give them a really entertaining experience is superb. I had no idea they went to such lengths and it's great to see them working so hard to get the kids into the game. Very well done indeed

It was good to see the comedy linesmen, jugglers and football skills guys entertaining the kids outside and inside the Amex. I saw facepainting and balloon sculpting too.

Glad you had a good experience, I saw the entertainers dressed as referees outside ground.
I missed original ticket allocation but managed to get a ticket in South Stand for yesterday's match, however, looking across to S end of E stand there were large blocks of empty seats and recognised these as seats that are normaly purchased by non sth like myself, did club make error and think they had sold these seats when they hadn't? Too many together for it to be issolated no shows....hope I am able to get a season ticket next season...

Isn't that the area they hold for freebies etc? TBH if you ever want tix I think you can come on here and ask ... I did that for Barnsley and had 3 or 4 offers. I've written to the club re tix exchange a couple of times .. even saying my mate (has IT services business) has already built and tested something and it could be implemented in a few weeks ... but had no reply. Hope that's a sign they are doing something

It's been mentioned before and it does seem that the club keeps some tickets back (as comps?) which do not get used.

Ok, in the great scheme of things the money may not be much but these empties are denying others that want to go.

Not the real one
This is all great to hear, I got my eldest daughter who is 4 into the Albion and the stuff they send through to us is fantastic!! She wants to come to a game but I think she might be that bit young but if this is the kind of stuff they do to encourage the youngsters then that's fantastic! Well done the club!:amex:

I think it's something they were running with the FA.
All the extra entertainment, isn't every week.

The highlight for our 2 is down the front to meet Gully @ half-time, although my eldest (nearly 7) really got into the game for the first time, this weekend.

We felt we were there too early, for starters, making the kids figetty during the game.
So now we are almost military in our timings:-
Arrive @ 2:15, toilet, food, toilet, sweets, seats @ 2:50.

If the queues keep getting shorter I might be able to get a couple of pints in!.
