Is there any way i can set a timer on an e-mail, so it automatically sends at a certain time of day?

Many thanks

Yes, although that depends on your email client.

For instance, if you use outlook you can use the 'View... Options..., Do not Deliver Until' setting, although that just sits in your outbox and requires your PC to be connected to the t'internet until such a time is reached.

Annoyingly, i don't have a client, only webmail.

Having said that, i have Mozilla Thunderbird installed, i wonder if that could do the job

This is a great feature for any layabouts out there. I often use this on a Tuesday morning in the summer when I'm on the Golf course. My PC, however, is churning out e-mails on an hourly basis creating the illusion that I am actually doing something. A Highly recommended feature of outlook.

Seeing as I'm "working" from home today and I need something to keep me occupied until my daft sys admin gets his sorry arse out of bed and fixes our VPN I'll lend a hand.

What EXACTLY do you need the email to do? Send an email to your mum reminding her that it brownies tonight and you don't want any tea? Or something more complicated?

You can PM me if you don't want to share your genius plans with the thieving gits on here.
