Anyone been lately and is it dog friendly?

I think so.

They have just stopped running their famous early morning commuter service for schoolkids though, after 40 years. But the Summer service is pretty intensive.

Yes. We rode it at the beginning of July and my Mother-in-laws dog came with us.

I'm guessing that as long as you haven't got a Great Dane or the like, you'll be fine.

Still going but being so close to Dungeoness power station there are side effects

It's awesome (though not cheap). Seen dogs there many times. Good for the kiddies.
