Anyone know what's going on up Dyke Road this morning?

The traffic has been crawling past my place on the way OUT of town for over an hour. Must be something going on up towards the A27.

I may have to go and get a paper and see - unless NSC knows

Apparently a vehicle has broken down on A23/A27 Roundabout (or so it says in The Arsegas Traffic wotsit)..

The traffic Congestion on Dyke Road, outside Barry Izbaks House, is being caused by cheering crowds ushering the surprise arrival of Jóse Mourhino as new assistant Albion boss along with Season Long Loanees Fernando Torres, Jermain Defoe and James Milner.

Terrible traffic all over Hove this morning. Hangleton Road/Snakey Hill - proper goosed. Nevill Ave - proper goosed. Ended up going back to Sainsburys in order to join the A27. There was one broken down vehicle on the A27/A23 Eastbound slip but I can't believe it caused that level of gridlock.

Mates at work came down Preston Drove to join Preston Road and said it was backed up all the way to Fiveways.

Think people have just all got in their cars at once after the big freeze ...

Sadly my new Mountie uniform has been put on hold until 25th-28th Jan.Due to lack of relevant original policy documents.

I shall investigate Dyke Road shortly.

Dyke Road was fine when I got the bus at quarter past seven this morning.

Numerous broken down cars on the various on and off slips on the A27 and also on the A27 itself. Caused access problems to the A27 and the knock on effect was gridlock everywhere. I got stuck in it too but luckily had a job come in and sailed past everyone on blues & twos - sorted!

Dyke Road is now clear in both directions. Tesco's Droveway have run out of Shreddies though.
