Surely if he was banned and has done his time, why shouldn't he be allowed to compete again? Doesn't everyone deserve a second chance???

True, but he is banned from the olympics & by definition stopping a youngster from getting big competition experience.....Now if this wasn't Olympic year, there wouldn't be all this fuss as he's already come back once....

This is the guy who lied through his teeth and absolutely swore blind he was clean, before being found guilty. I might have given him the benefit had he not continued to lie about it when he knew he was guilty. As it stands though, no, for that I don't think he should be afforded a second chance.

This saves me potentially having to try and cover him this season in BAFL (american footy), so I'm not complaining!!

What did you have to cover him in?

I think the post says he was going to cover him in baffle.

Here's how I think it would work:

He's served his time, and if it makes others learn from his mistakes and perhaps he can educate youngsters on his experience then I think it's a good thing.

Plus all the youngsters are useless, otherwise they'd have beaten him in the trials.

I say let him compete but force him to wear one of those daft costumes fun-runners wear at the marathon. A giant Kangaroo or an alarm clock perhaps. He gave himself an unfair advantage with his doping, lets give him an unfair dis-advantage now. Plus he would look very silly.

Or for the amount of time he was competing on his original drug he now has to compete while on some sort of tranquiliser for the same time just to balance it out.

Don't get me wrong I don't like the guy, but rules are rules, he's served his time and we can't stop him competing if he's faster than everyone else...

But he needs to come out on some tv show or something and really say how stupid he was...
