I've said it before and I'll say it again, where is all the stuff?! He has kids doesn't he? Where are they kept and their junk?!!
Believe, or not, these types of properties have professional "setters". For a small (big) fee they set each room up for photos, arrange gardeners, window cleaners etc, and even supply props / furniture as required. A whole industry that wasn't around a few years ago.

It’s called staging - it’s being happening in the States for at least the last 20 years . Usually only done at a price point that is worth doing it . Staging can include all new furniture for the photo shoot as well as even repainting walls and new flooring .

An apartment for sale on the upper east side , I know the owner and he spent around €60,000 getting it staged and it sold within a week . Previously unstaged it had been on the market 6 months .

wanted to add , if Dunk’s house has been staged , it’s not been done very well . Looks cold and clinical not really going to appeal to many family buyers . Also the main living space is too narrow at that price point . The floor plan needs some work and that will cost money .

Interesting the property is described as renovated. The dwelling sold for £787k in 2016, looks very different

Are you an estate agent? . . . or if you are across the pond, a realtor?

I was watching some Million Pound House show the other day, just to see how the other half live. Agent had an apartment for sale in London, at least 7 noughts, that wasn't shifting. Original pics were of empty rooms but they spent a fortune staging the furniture and all. Place sold within weeks

I've seen a property "staged" with a full removal and furnishing taking place, like Dunk they had children and the agent wanted it to look like a no children city slicker environment, staggering, but it sold within a couple of weeks ..... to a family!!!

Watched and a few of those luxury real estate shows and they nearly always stage them.

The stagers charge ridiculous amounts too.

He's spent a lot on it but according to Zoopla, purchased in 2016 for only £787k. Is he following in the footsteps of Dale Stephens and into Homes Under the Hammer territory.

How do people get so wealthy that they like to brag about it and not know how to use a full stop?

Staging is less common in the UK because we tend to sell in a chain and houses are full of peoples stuff. In Australia its very common ahead of auctions in sought after areas.

Frankly, its put me off. I'd rather look at the floorplan, the aspect, the location, whether I'm paying for poor value adding and see what recent sales were.

Americans may struggle with reality, but they are spot on when it comes to realty
