I have just heard from my super secret sauce that Dunk will NOT need an operation on his knee, meaning it’s going to be weeks not months.

That would be great news. Hopefully next instalment is days not weeks!

Getting tackled by middle aged fat gits ****ed my knees up.

Once I'd had another op and recovered I could play squash, cycle, rune etc . .every now and then I get a bit of gyp but I think I got off lightly.

Having said that, I played an hour football with my lad, his mates and a few dads a couple of years ago, then followed it with an hours cricket, mostly bowling . . . Knee went and couldn't walk much for three days!

In around 2009 I played a footy game with our final year students (mixed knockabout, but obvs I was showing off in front of the young ladies) then spent the next 3 months limping. A year later my second arthroscopy and meniscus repair. Ten years later my third. ACL now like granny's knicker elastic, and rheumatoid degeneration. Eligible for total knee replacement. Still, I managed to go skiing in 2020 with a knee support and did a black run on my first day*. I'm hard, me. Dunk is clearly a half pint puff of piss and wind ???

*OK, it was by mistake and I nearly shat myself :lolol:

Out for 8 weeks, no surgery needed. Although initially reported as end of January, I doubt we will be seeing him until end of February or March time at the earliest.

At least he's not going to be sold to Chelsea/Spurs/Arsenal etc etc this year

May I ask, are you an orthopedic surgeon? From where does this information emanate.

When are we able to recall Clarke and/or Ostigard from their loans?

I thought we sold Clarke?!?

No we haven't. Although with Burn and Roberts also favouring playing on the left, it wouldn't improve the balance of the team very much. Maybe we should just threaten to recall van Hecke if Blackburn don't play nicely when it comes to selling Diaz to us!

Article says he'll be available end Jan. There is a PL gap of 3 weeks due to FAC and internationals so 12th Feb at Watford is a target return. That would mean he misses 8 more PL games, assuming Spurs is rearranged for Jan.

Still think we need to recall Clarke, Østigard or Van Hecke.
