This was posted on some odd looking transfer site... but has a ring of truth about it...
Despite interest from Newcastle, Swansea, and one other un-named Premier club, Brighton Center Half Lewis Dunk is poised for a move to Tottentham. David Pleat has been watching Dunk on behalf of Spurs and has given the nod. Word on the Lane is that a buy from Spurs with a loan back to Brighton for the reaminder of this season is being prepared by Spurs. Spurs offering a sweetner of an additional loanee from the club also, but as yet we haven't heard who that is ? Fee unknown ?https://nortr3nixy.nimpr.uk/images/smilies/laugh1.gif

It was a rumour a couple of weeks ago that he was going to Spurs and Livermore was coming to us on loan as part o the deal. I would be quite happy for him to go and then be loaned back to us for the season but would honestly rather have El Abd in the centre of defence and he showed yesterday why.

El abd coming back to fitness is like a new signing. I'm more than comfortable with him alongside Greer......if they can both stay fit and on the pitch, I don't see why they can't be first choice centrebacks.

Livermore turned down West Ham, why would he come down here?

Newcastle are the main suitors for Dunk at the moment and they've been trying to keep Brighton sweet (selling Kaz, loaning out Harper etc) to let them have first dibs.

Livermore turned down West Ham, why would he come down here?

because he wants to play decent football ???

he's been hawked around so many clubs, he must break into the first team at Spurs or make a permenant move. i think he's played double figure games this season, i dont think he'll be loaned anymore.
