Drinking Pints of Harveys? Mark McGhee? Seagulls over London, Jan 27th.
Come and hear Mark McGhee and Bob Booker at next week’s meeting of Seagulls over London!
They’re both planning on being there, and it’s booked in their diaries. Course, these things are hard to guarantee 100%, and there’s always the chance of last-minute problems. But be reassured that SoL has a pretty good record of getting the big names along. We’ve previously had Dick Knight, Martin Perry, Bob Booker, Gary Stevens, Paul Rogers and Paul Camillin. But not all at once.
SoL background
If you live or work in the capital, you’ll get a lot from joining Seagulls over London. It’s a chance to hear about all things Albion, from the inside. A chance to meet other Seagulls fans and talk about the things that really matter – like our play-off prospects and the urgent need to arrange a ground share for the Prem. And it’s just possible that contracts and Falmer could get a passing mention…
We meet on the third Thursday of every other month. The venue is the Royal Oak, Tabard Street (nearest tubes London Bridge and Borough). And just to make you feel at home, it sells Harvey’s. Whether Mark McGhee will actually drink our Sussex nectar is anyone’s guess; we’ve told him it's a bit like McEwans 80 shilling, but with a beer flavour.
SoL membership costs a hefty fiver a year. That’s right. Five Quid. One eighth of the price of a seat at Selhurst. But none of the suicidal urges.
Meetings kick-off at 7.30pm. We’re expecting a good turnout, but get there early because it’s first come, first served. Same as most London venues...
