Draw today was a brilliant result for us.

Forest would have definately seen this game as one they could get 3 points from, and from what ive heard it seemed to be a typical relegation battle- scrappy, poor, not much between the two sides.. so overall i think it was definately a point gained for us; we're now unbeaten in six, in a superb position 8 points clear of the drop zone.. we cant win 'em all and if someone had said at the start of the season we'd have taken 4 points off forest this season im sure we would have all taken that.

We'll just have to beat leeds next week instead! :bounce:

If you were told at the begining of the season that in January we would be 12 points in front of Forest you would have taken that.

that's not quite the point, though. if you were told before the match you could have a 0-0 draw with forest you would've taken your chances. the best positive you can take from the result alone was that we denied a relegation threatened team a much needed three points. and well done the stripes.

In this particular game, the downside of a loss was so much greater than the upside of a win, that the natural reaction to a 0-0 draw is pleasure! It's pretty illogical to be upset about the result.

The best positive is that we are still unbeaten in 6 games

Not true - the poll I did showed that half of the people who responded would have taken a draw before the game.

i don't see why. i think we're more than capable of beating forest. especially on the back of that solid performance in sheffield.

A relegation team with a new manager very often start picking up points whereas Sheff Utd lost again yesterday.

There is no 'should' or 'shouldn't' in football.

I thought we should have won as well but we failed so many times to even cross the ball in - instead just passed it back.

Very frustrating to say the least.
