You are talking out of your arse. How many Lambrettas songs have you listened to? Poison Ivy was probably the worst thing they ever released, but it served its purpose of getting them on the radio. Virtually every other song they recorded was written by Jez Bird and sounded nothing like Poison Ivy. Check them out, they made some mighty fine pop records. I think Jez is still out there playing locally.

Lead singer Jez Bird - still singing the same song in a pub near you.
Last time I saw Jez Bird he was doing covers. He said people didn't want to hear his songs! The only Lambrettas song he did was 'Poison Ivy'.

A shame as he is a great songwriter and 'Da-a-a-ance' was far better that Poison Ivy. 'Beat Boys in the Jet Age' is one of the best albums of all time. FACT.
