Queen of the South have released 16 first team players (out of 18) due to Covid19, so Stephen Dobbie is basically trading with kids. Supposedly Dunfermline have done the same. Just shows how bad it must be for teams outside of Premier League. Will Scotland still have 42 league teams and will England have 91 league teams by the time next season starts - when ever that it is

Way too early to say anything about that... football might still come out better on the other side, mid/long-term. Short term its obviously a disaster though.

I would suggest that in likelihood, what may befall lower league teams is far more predictable than the course of the Coronavirus in Sweden over the next year or two.

Well yes most will either collapse or struggle, but the financial part of football could change to the better and the phoenix clubs could have a different attitude to wages vs stability etc. The situation in L1 and L2 and even Championship was unsustainable even before the virus.

That’s a big could.....and a high price to pay for lower football league teams and non league football
