Sounds like a good Idea to me. Keep it at BST.
We started doing it over 100 years ago to save fuel during the First World War. Think we've saved a few quid by now. Time to make the changes permanent imo.
I'm going to have to faff about, changing the clock on my cookers, toasters, hairdryers, bidet, etc., you can guess the rest, tomorrow. What's the point of voting Leave if we have all this drama. It's a ****ing disgrace. Fact.

Who cares about Greenwich anyway? And it should be English Summer Time.
Best outcome is to stop this nonsense and have English Time, or World Leading time.

I say leave things as they are, as I quite enjoy the biannual turmoil of changing the clocks, and cursing when I find that I've missed one.

the US made a permenent swicth to +DST back in the 70's then realised how shite it was to have start the day in the dark during winter. as we're a lot higher latitude the negative effects would be greater. unless we stick to GMT and dont go forward, so we have hours of morning sunshine and dark early evenings in the summer.
Might be time to save some fuel again tbf
I see the EU are considering scrapping DST altogether.

Back in the ‘60s Britain changed to Summer Time all year round for a few years. The experiment was abandoned due to unpopularity. In the winter it was dark until late .... mid morning in Scotland I believe.
Every country is different, due to latitude and position, I believe the present system works well... even though it felt very early to get up this morning!

Well that was an hour I won’t get back for 6 months.
So as well as losing an hour’s sleep, we’ll lose another hour trying to change the ****ing clock on the cooker
