And have our 3 points and first ever league win at the Amex taken away from us?

Can't they be expelled next season?

Weren't BerwicK unofficially still at war with Russial until very recently. They were part of Scotland when England signed treaty with Russia and then switched to England when Scotland signed a treaty or something like that. Might have been recently corrected though.

something I remember from QI on tv..........

en Victoria signed the declaration of war on Russia in 1853, she did so in the name of "Victoria,Queen of Great Britain, Ireland, Berwick-upon-Tweed and the British Dominions beyond the sea." But Berwick was not mentioned in the Treaty of Paris that concluded the Crimean War in 1856, leaving the town technically still at war with Russia.

A peace treaty was only finally signed by a Russian diplomat and the the Mayor of Berwick in 1966. As the mayor said at the time: "You can tell the Russian people that they can now sleep peacefully in their beds".

OMG - at last the Hoops will have a decent challenger
Donny v Barca in the nest few years perhaps.
They'll be thankful for they're new stadium.
A canny move a few years ago by a chairman who knew more than others.
Enjoy your haggis burgers on Saturday week
