Domain Name Sales - Help!

Someone has just asked if I'm interested in selling my seagulls.info domain, and if so how much do I want for it. I have no idea how much domains are worth. It's a lovely domain but does anyone know how much it could be worth??

I haven't set up a website yet, I just keep it for the email opportunities...and for investment, I suppose.

I think how much are they willing to pay you is the question you need to ask...

You need to find out who they are first and work out their capacity...are they a fan, are they a business?

Absolutely no clues from the guy's email address. Nothing on Google when I check. "jasonweb101" sounds like it's a private address but whether he's a Brighton fan, I don't know.

I think I should get my domain appraised by a professional (which costs money...darn). Might be worth a few hundred quid maybe.

to be honest, its what they want to give you for it, its not worth hundreds

its not that good a domain name, only people interested would probably be albion fans who want a web site, if he offered you 50 quid I'd bite his hand off and run

Well if it helps, I sold a domain to an anonymous bloke a few years ago, I just pulled a figure out of the air. I asked for £2k.

The domain was xcite.com

They paid without even batting a eyelid

Turns out it was Wrigleys who bought my domain- when I found out, I wish I'd asked for more !, - anyone remember the Wrigley xcite brand - it wasn't around for long and now the domain is not being used!
