I don't know if anyone's posted anything on this, so apologies if they have.

The Albion are on the cusp of creating another record, that of doing the double over more teams this season than in the club's history. At present we have beaten 8 teams both home and away so far, with the potential of making it 12 with wins over Wolves, Wigan, Norwich and Bristol City.

The current record by the way is 9, in 2010/11 season. Worth a little celebratory drink, dontcha think?

And only one team have 'doubled' over us, Newcastle.

Funnily enough, we've done the double over Fulham, Fulham have done the double over Newcastle, and Newcastle have done the double over us. Also Wednesday have the double over Newcastle, Newcastle over us, and us over Wednesday.

It's a very tight division.

Blackburn did the double over Newcastle and we did the double over them.

Blackburn did the double over Newcastle and we did the double over them.

Meaning six of Newcastle's nine defeats have been against three teams.

In other words, like us, Newcastle have lost to just six different teams.

With the exception of 4 close shaves against Wednesday and Fulham, that list looks like the Albion have swanned around the playground stealing all the little kids sweets.

Well, one or two more close shaves than that me thinks, no match is easy!, we came back from the dead at Birmingham for example, but yes, I get your point!
