nowt wrong with having been a WAFU, I always liked the sunbathing routine .... deck chairs were a bit too much like hardwork

Nothing wrong with sunbathing - except when the WAFUs wheel out the petrol pigeon, put the whole upper deck out of bounds, and claim they are doing maintenance. But when you look through the flight deck camera in HQ1, you can see the strap hangers bloody sunbathing in the cab seats!

The only problem is, I spent as much time in Norway, Scotland and bloody Otterburn, freezing my arse off in holes in the ground, whilst Royal spent the whole time filling each other in, as I did on board !!! .. actually Norway was corking but don't tell anyone ...

We didn't go to sea in my day.
There were plenty of matelots marrying Wrens though. In my watch alone, 4 out of 5 married sailors (me included).
