What are your favourites?I prefer dogs to cats cos they are much more friendly and I have always hated cats since one cat jumped up and scratched me all the way down the arm.We were only boxing...

Cats all they way. You don't have to walk them and you don't have to pick up their shit, infact they are so considerate they go and shit in other peoples gardens. Also a lot easier for the cat to sleep on your lap than a ruddy great labrador.

Cats, totally. You can go out on a weekend, come back in really late, sleep in until the late afternoon and never have to worry about walking them.

Funny that, cos I heard that pure whites are always deaf. Must've been wrong. They're bloody rare, though. Bet she's gorgeous.

Yep, I love her to bits. When she eats cat biscuits she paws them out with her paw and leaves a mess, and when she drinks milk she dips her paw into the milk and drinks of it.

I had a pure white a few years ago, and she was deaf.

You feel like an idiot trying to let them know its dinner time though.

Any idea why there are deaf?

Currently dog sitting three large alsations one of whom is supposed to be very aggresive, he's not once he knows you. There's also a very ancient King Charles Spaniel whos deaf as a post but is still very game. She has no hesitation at having a pop at the big three if they step out of line. Addtionally there's a very sweet natured cat that the dogs avoid. She's all that's good in cat and very affectionate.

I would say that I prefer dogs but there's not a whole lot in it. The only main difference is that the vast majority of aggresive dogs are that way due to the way their owners treat them. Obnoxious cats on the other hand are that way inclined because they are inherently spiteful animals.

Cats for me. I don't have one at the moment but will probably get one after I move house, apparently animals are like their owner, in which case a cat would be perfect. The similarities between me and a cat are: don't crap on my own doorstep, independant minded, if anyone hacks me off completely I leave and don't go back. Though there are some differences, I don't spend 23 hours a day sleeping and the rest either eating or licking my nuts!
