The problem with Sunday dog racing is that the tote payouts are GASH! So few people there for a punt that you're often betting against yourself.

Good laugh though.

We're off to see the old cars arrive in Brighton. Its the London to Brighton for pre 1933 (or some old old age) cars today....Zef was up at the crack of sparrows fart to marshall them on their way in Hyde Park and we'll meet them in sunny Brighton! Top speed is about 20mph..

Odds are odds, I didn't notice them downgrading or shortening them cos of a lack of punters. A dog at 5/2 on a Sunday lunchtime ain't gonna be any longer on a Saturday night when the place is rammed.

I broke about even - won £26 early on (just doing 50p reverse forcasts), won nothing else, but had a few pleasant lagers in the crisp autumnal sunshine, the kids had a good old runaround, and I left perfectly satisfied and entertained. Took my Sunday paper along to the pub afterwards, couple of BEATERS later, back for dinner and thats a pretty pleasant Sunday all round.

I like to dabble in the trio market, which doesn't get a lot of action on a Sunday. Win odds are much of a muchness.

Is that online ?
I honestly didn't see any noticable difference in the odds given at the track today, although I'm no expert by any means.

Good that its free entry though. I can't think of many better ways to spend a Sunday lunchtime. Drinking and gambling, its got everything.

That was great fun. I thought the entrance criteria was a lot stricter and they had to be built pre 1906 or somthing like that...?

The highlight had to be Laurel and Hardy in their old wagon.

Actually Ted, you might be able to satisfy my curiosity. Some of the cars seemed to be leaking liquid gold. Either they are extremely expensive to run or there is a logical explanation to this mystery substance.

That was just the elderly owners emptying their colostomy bags after a long journey.
