Haha! They are lovely but I have to say I've had two girlfriends with retrievers and they did indeed sit around a lot like your one above, most of the time, they can soon spring into life!
Only if you're going to walk past on your way fancy dress party as either a tennis ball or a pheasant.

Ha! Ben , the retriever was at the In-laws house. In laws had just got tiny new Kitten. Ben wanted the kittens food so was shooed away from the cat's bowl. Looked at Mum in Law, grabbed kiten and quick as a flash slammed it head first into the wall, killing it instantly. Dropped the cat, and strolled off. It then went on to slaughter next door's chickens. Quite the man really, liked to be in charge. He was put in his place.

I was walking past St. Peter's Church a couple months back and one of those street drinking, crack head wasters had let their dog off the leash. It was mental, running around barking and snarling at anything/anyone that got anywhere remotely near to it.

They used to drink in Preston Park, round by the clock tower, and their dogs were feral. There were at least 4 dog on dog attacks, one innocent dog needing extensive surgery. Dog wardens and police were informed, but did nothing about it.

One thing, being a dog owner (of the 2 goons pictured) is the amount of kids that are now sh*t scared of dogs.

Proper leg clinging, running in the road, sort of stuff.

Combination of kids being generally more wimpy these days and moron dog owners with aggressive dogs.

I've been shit scared of dogs for most of my life, and that's 45 years since an alsation bit me. I would never condone cruelty to any animal, just don't bring a flea ridden, rabid, dribbling, lice infested mobile carpet, anywhere near me.

The issue with Staffys isn't their manner about people, they seem to be fine around them. It's their attitude around other animals.

My Whippets been attacked by 3 different Staffys. Luckily he's got the sense to use his god given gift of speed to put some distance between them and him.

It's hardly surprising they are one of the if not the highest reported dog bite aggressors out here in council compiled statistics.

If I can pick up my bullmastiff x dogue da Bordeaux's gigantic shit loafs up off the street (2 handed) then there's no excuse for others not doing same.
My streets full of dog shit, drives me mad especially when I take my kids to school and they're having to walk as if they're treading through a f***ing minefield

Sadly for me my Retriever's (the near white one) nemesis is one of these.
He's completely terrorised by it and runs away plopping himself

Who was that woman who used to train dogs on telly? Barbara Windsor? She used to say "There are no such things as bad dogs, only bad dog owners"

I think you'll find it's Barbara Woodhouse.

Babs Windsor is the one making a living from extremely small breasts and knocking off crims.

More responsible owners. Look, do I really have to point this shit out? It's entry level stuff. Point of fact, Staffies are not bred for fighting. Pitbulls, despite what anyone says, are very definately bred for fighting.

It's Staffordshire bull terriers that have been prominent in the news over the last year or so for maiming children and adults alike.
All of those similar breed of dog, whether they be family "pets" or not are more likely to attack without provocation.

Almost all cases are in council estates, where they are kept as a working class trophy.

Has any one else notice recently that there seems to be more fighting dogs such as pitbulls and staffs around Brighton, especially along Lewes/London road? Or am I just on the look out for them since one nearly bit me the other day?

Staffs are not fighting dogs by nature,in the 19th centuary they were known as the nurse maid dog as they were so good with children, the retards that turn these animals into monsters should be put down not the dogs.

What do you mean they are more than likely to attack ?

I'm quite disappointed by this thread. All this talk about dogs, but has anyone actually thought to ask the dogs what they think?

Here in Hastings dogs get far more of a say in any debate - their voices are not stifled, oh no!:

dog blog - This Is Hastings

I say, dogs of Brighton unite! Let your voices/barks be heard and don't let one or two bad apples give you all a bad name.
