Dog Friendly Pubs In Brighton Town Centre

We always used to end up in Pump House after walking the dogs along the seafront, but they have now "no dogs". Anybody know of any dog friendly pubs in the town centre.? (I've rung the Sussex and the Cricketers, but no luck, so to save me ringing every pub in Brighton, I thought somebody may have some inside knowledge.

I once saw a dog (small terrier-type thing) sat on a bar-stool by the bar looking very pleased with himself in The Evening Star

I imagine the battle of trafalgar is dog friendly, though not sure, but the Railway Belle is I'm pretty sure

The Ranelagh in High Street, of St James St always seems to have dogs in. Nice fire and plenty of ales. too

The Oak in St james st, they have a pub dog and he is really friendly. Oh and the Kings head, just of St James st is dog friendly and they have 3 bloody enormous dogs.
