If you are feeling numb, than probably it is best for you to have a pet.Rodders said:I feel pretty numb, like the house is missing something.
Have you got a pet and do you think every family needs a pet ?
I'm pondering whether to get a dog or not now.

It is very sad to say goodbye to your pet, but it was for the best to put them down, and then you can put all your energy and time in a new animal who would love love and attention.
If you are looking for a dog, I'll have Border Collie puppies ready soon, and Bexhill area will be in the Battle Friday-Ad. let me know if you are interested.
Rodders said:Just got back from Chase Vetinary centre in Bexhill, where I've sadly just had the family cat put down. We've had him for 12 years last July, so today is a very sad day for the Rodders household. The reason for him being put down was that he was very poorly after some cat from our neighbourhood attacked him and gave him feline aids. It was the best thing to do but also very sad.
After getting back, I looked to where he usually laid in the sun, and there was nothing and to be honest I feel pretty numb, like the house is missing something.

RSPCA are absolute barstards put down more animals than they re-home.Squiggsy said:Am from a family that always had pets.
Personally have had cats (can't have dogs as out all day) since '97, all from Braypool.
Down to my remaining 17 yo who is still whinging like a good'un.
When he goes to the great litter tray in the sky I will mourn for a couple of weeks and then be straight back to the RSPCA to offer an unwanted over 4yo moggie a luxury lifestyle.
