Anybody remember the trip to Plymouth in the late 80's with a de-tour via Yeovil on the way back?

I was on that bus, escorted out of the county after the game, so we stopped in Yeovil for a few, locals were pleased to see us.

Blimey, i would have cut off the bottom bit off that map and am shocked it goes down as far as Balham! I lived on the common just near sisters avenue and never felt I was in Battersea (albeit the border) I know it's all down to snobbery but never understood why i recent years people would be ashamed to say they live in South Battersea, Battersea rise and Northcote road in articular are very nice areas.

Found this on Twitter, Football fooligans or half price hooligans page, I've forgotten which one but I saved the photo a few months back.

Bless them!! :lolol:

Well, you may laugh, mate, but every club needs junior hools to replace the Old Guard one day. When Albion wins promotion (around 2025), these lads will burst into the Premier League like a bulldog into a henhouse. :D

Was that the 3-5?
More recently, at The Station Hotel at Preston Park when we were at Withdean. I could be wrong but one of the Soul Crew wrote a book in which said event featured and they had a grudging respect for us afterwards. The old Windmill lot featured heavily that day!

Actually what was written was a readers review on Amazon of the Soul Crew book in which the reviewer said he was suprised that there was no account of the trouble outside the North Stand the last time we played Cardiff at the Goldstone - though there did appear to be a vague acknowledgement that BHA'S firm were well up for it that day, as indeed they were! My admittedly somewhat hazy recollection is that whilst there was some running about and a few relatively minor scuffles up by the traffic lights real aggro didn't actually occur - though to be clear BHA had a good lot out that day and it could have been mental!!

don't take this the wrong way , but attitudes like yours are exactly why the locals are pissed off, before Battersea became yuppified there was never any question that tbese areas were battersea , I can remember when the northcote was a proper market rather than the poncified place it is now , have a look at the love battersea link I put in the post .

Very harsh
Do you really get offended by men fighting men?
It will be a very very very sad day if the football hooly's disappear from football in the future....Something very special about our hooly culture, something to be proud of in this country being an Englishman and long may it continue.

I don't care if some think its pathetic...Its not pathetic its brilliant

It's pathetic.

That makes very odd watching.

Does anybody actually touch anybody else?
Lots of Danny Dyer noise and a length of plastic being thrown around, but nobody touches anyone else.

It all looked rather embarrassing.
But I can't help thinking in the 'post off debrief' it was a massive toe to toe rumble of epic proportions.

Blimey.

If it's just that footage then clearly it's history that has sent them down.
As every town centre, every Saturday night, has considerably worse than that, that goes unpunished.
